This NEW Mishimoto 82°C / 180°F performance thermostat is designed as a direct-fit cooling system upgrade for selected Generation 1 MINI R50, R52 and R53 models.

Unlike the standard thermostat, the Mishimoto performance thermostat is designed to open at a lower 82°C / 180°F temperature, allowing coolant to circulate through the engine sooner once operating temperature is reached.

This can help improve cooling system efficiency and maintain lower engine temperatures during demanding driving conditions, making it particularly suited to modified, fast-road and motorsport MINI applications.
